Adriana joined the Bank Information Center in 2024 as a Senior Program Associate for Child Rights. Her role focuses on improving prevention and responses to child sexual abuse, exploitation, and harassment (SEA/H) in projects funded by multilateral development banks.
Her work integrates human rights, socio-environmental justice, and access to remedy for victims. Before joining BIC, Adriana served as a policy advisor to Mexico's Sub-Secretariat for Human Rights, where she coordinated the implementation of collective reparation measures for survivors of sexual violence. She has significant experience as a researcher and human rights consultant for local authorities and international organizations, including USAID, the International Criminal Court, Penal Reform International, and the International Working Group for Indigenous Affairs.
Adriana received her Master of Arts in Development Studies, majoring in Human Rights, Gender, and Conflict, from the International Institute of Social Studies of the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. She holds a Law Degree from the University of the Américas Puebla.
She speaks Spanish, English, French and Portuguese.
